About the Role

You will be joining a well-organised, established, and autonomous site senior management team reporting directly into the plant manager. This team covers all aspects of plant management, including Quality, HR, HSE, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Finance. As a team, they have a strong dynamic, working well together, recognising each other's strengths, and guiding the plant to achieve its business targets, while engaging the workforce to be part of that achievement.

The plant itself forms part of the electronics and ADAS division of ZF, with a portfolio covering Tier 1 automotive supply of the latest technology, including cameras, radars, ECUs, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the on-site team covering key areas, including Customer / Production Planning / Inbound Material Planning (Supplier) / Logistics Operations
  • Ensuring that all customer schedules are received and converted into an achievable production plan, and supplier schedules are clearly communicated and adhered to, escalating where appropriate, as well as managing all on-site logistics functions
  • Liaising closely with your peers, along with supporting both divisional and group-driven activities
  • Working on various projects, including Inventory Reduction, Digitalisation, Consignment Introduction, you will lead these from a plant level with support from a cross-divisional team

Requirements

  • Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role
  • SAP knowledge preferred, but other MRP acceptable, MS Office, Data Analysis, Project Management
  • Supply Chain Knowledge and experience in a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
  • Develop and engage a team, encouraging autonomy at all levels, and lead as well as promote our ZF Way
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and delegate accordingly
  • A good communicator at all levels, including stakeholder engagement
  • English language skills, with a second language preferred but not essential
