Your responsibilities will include supporting the management of people with diabetes, including phlebotomy and screening, as well as delivering education on safe self-administration of insulin and glucose monitoring. You will work closely with the Diabetes Specialist Nurses to ensure that patients receive individualized and effective care.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support the Diabetes Specialist Nurses in the management of people with diabetes

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers
* Contribute to the development of the Diabetes and Endocrinology service

**Requirements:**

* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent relevant experience
* Good literacy and numerical skills
* Experience of working in a Health or Social care environment
* Car driver/car user essential
