Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Design Lead, you will be responsible for undertaking structural designs on large projects from commercial, residential, industrial, and educational sectors.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in the UK. Your role will involve:

  1. Undertaking structural designs using design software
  2. Reporting and analyzing structural faults and remediation (if required)
  3. Supervising engineers and technicians accordingly
  4. Representing the company at meetings and liaising with consultants, clients, and contractors

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A relevant first-class degree (e.g., MEng or BEng)
  2. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Structural design
  3. Working towards chartership status (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership
  4. Hold a Full UK driving license
  5. Design experience in materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry
