We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our community phlebotomy team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our service users.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to work in a dynamic and innovative organisation. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including community clinics and patients' homes. You will work closely with our Phlebotomy Lead and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of blood samples
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of phlebotomy services
What We Offer

This role attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, pro rata for part-time staff. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, pension scheme, and opportunities for career development.
