This position entails overseeing a portfolio of litigated and non-litigated claimant motor accident cases until resolution, serving as the primary liaison between our Panel Lawyers and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess incoming cases for litigation, prioritizing those with significant value.
  • Effectively manage litigated cases towards resolution.
  • Adopt a forward-thinking approach to develop tailored strategies for individual claims.
  • Reduce indemnity costs through informed decision-making.
  • Apply reserves accurately in accordance with company policies.
  • Leverage strategic insights for decisions regarding legal representation, in-house management, or settlements.
  • Handle litigated cases remotely and navigate procedural milestones.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into indemnity, liability, recoverability, and potential fraud.
  • Utilize schedules efficiently to minimize hire duration and indemnity expenses.

The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of Civil Procedure Rules pertinent to motor claims and possess experience in OIC and Fast Track motor claims management, ideally within the insurance or legal sectors.
