We are collaborating with a prominent global manufacturer seeking a Quality Assurance Leader to drive growth by overseeing, enhancing, and continuously advancing the Quality Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the Quality Team (3 Direct reports), ensuring their performance, professional growth, and attendance while nurturing a positive, high-performance team culture.

- Manage all facets of Site Quality and Assurance.

- Collaborate with Operations and Site Management to align quality objectives with business goals and formulate quality enhancement strategies aimed at minimizing the cost of poor quality and boosting operational efficiencies.

- Conduct internal, external, and customer audits in accordance with our certifications and uphold high-quality standards.

- Develop improvement and corrective action plans, ensuring effective communication and tracking.

- Lead and mentor others in crafting effective corrective and preventive actions utilizing 8D and Mistake Proofing methodologies in response to customer feedback, COPQ data, or routine product audit outcomes.

- Facilitate various continuous improvement initiatives and projects to support organizational goals and objectives.

- Champion cultural transformation by employing suitable continuous improvement tools and methodologies (PDCA, Six Sigma, Mistake Proofing, kaizen, etc.).

- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to engage and garner support for driving COPQ improvements across various functions and levels within the organization.

- Serve as a positive role model for health and safety within the team and site, identifying hazards and seeking opportunities to enhance site safety.


Qualifications & Requirements:

- Proven track record in a similar role or having developed significant experience to transition into a Quality Manager position.

- Professional and confident communicator.

- Self-driven with the ability to work proactively in a manufacturing setting.

- Experienced in Quality Management Systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build effective working relationships and influence at senior levels, both internally and externally.

- Positive and enthusiastic, with a history of implementing significant improvements in their areas of expertise.
