Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining commodity strategies for a specific range of suppliers
  • Supporting and managing the negotiation and completion of Production Supplier Contracts within the commodity area
  • Partnering with Engineering, Quality, and other support functions to develop the supplier strategy and ensure we are using the leveraging with best technology, cost, and quality
  • Conducting and evaluating assessments of potential Suppliers and working with the Engineering Partner on the creation of Sourcing recommendations
  • Developing and maintaining supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and risk management
  • Ensuring that the Supplier can fulfill Programme targets, including timing, cost, quality, and technical attributes
Requirements
  • Procurement/Purchasing experience within a manufacturing/production-based environment
  • Exposure and experience in negotiation
  • Strong influencing skills with experience of creating and maintaining networks across all levels of the business
  • Understanding in developing structured commodity strategies
  • Basic understanding of QAF analysis
  • Eager to learn from Experienced Senior Buyers
