About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Buyer – Body Structures to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick, Bicester or Guilford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining commodity strategies for a specific range of suppliers
  • Supporting and managing the negotiation and completion of Production Supplier Contracts within the commodity area
  • Partnering with Engineering, Quality and other support functions to develop the supplier strategy
  • Conducting and evaluating assessments of potential Suppliers
  • Developing and maintaining supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and risk management

Requirements

  • Procurement/Purchasing experience within manufacturing/automotive and production-based environment (desirable)
  • Exposure and experience in negotiation
  • Strong influencing skills with experience of creating and maintaining networks across all levels of the business
  • Understanding in developing structured commodity strategies
