Forseven, a company revolutionizing the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Buyer – Electrical and Electronics (Digital Systems) to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Team.

What's the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager Electric Powertrain & Digital Systems, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction and commercial management of Electrical Distribution System (HV & LV Harnesses) commodity.

What You Will Do:

  • Negotiate and complete Production Supplier Contracts within the assigned commodities.
  • Support and manage the negotiation and completion of Production Supplier Contracts within the commodity.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality and other support functions to develop the supplier strategy and ensure we are leveraging best technology, cost and quality.
  • Conduct and evaluate assessments of potential Suppliers and work with the Engineering Partner on the creation of Sourcing recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and risk management.
  • Ensure that the Supplier can fulfill Programme targets, including timing, cost, quality, technical attributes.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Procurement/Purchasing experience, within a manufacturing/production-based environment (desirable).
  • Exposure and experience in negotiation.
  • Strong influencing skills with experience of creating and maintaining networks across all levels of the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships.
  • Understanding in developing structured commodity strategies.
  • Basic understanding of QAF analysis.
  • Eager to learn from Experienced Senior Buyers.
