About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide high-quality clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Neurodevelopmental Team, including maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding information from families and schools, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Request and chase supporting documents as required.
- Maintain departmental databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Use patient administration systems to check and update patient information, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Liaise with families and schools regarding referral processes and obtaining questionnaires, establishing effective communication channels.
- Perform general office and administrative duties, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Ensure that policies, protocols, and procedures for the work of the department are followed, adhering to the Trust's Code of Practice for Safeguarding Patient Information.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
- 4 GCSEs Grade C or above, including English
- NVQ Level 3, A-Levels or equivalent acquired through experience

Knowledge and Skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize work according to deadlines
