We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Claims Handler to join our team at HSB Engineering Insurance. As a Senior Technical Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling complex claims and providing expert technical advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex claims from inception to closure, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Provide expert technical advice to clients and internal stakeholders, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of claims handling and engineering insurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, risk management, and claims teams, to ensure seamless claim handling and resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims handling and engineering insurance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in claims handling, with a focus on complex claims and technical expertise.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex claims and providing expert technical advice.
- Strong understanding of engineering insurance and claims handling principles, including risk assessment, policy interpretation, and claims investigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
