About the Role: We are collaborating with Shire Healthcare, a provider of children's services, to offer a permanent position for a Lead Support Practitioner.

Position Overview: In this role, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, providing assistance to children facing learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges within a residential setting.

Work Environment: This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week along with additional sleep-in duties. Our client is committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive workplace, with ample opportunities for career advancement.

Compensation: The remuneration for this position is £11.00 per hour, in addition to sleep-in payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist children in building and maintaining relationships with their friends and family.
  • Encourage community integration by facilitating participation in local clubs and activities.
  • Support children in all facets of their daily living.
  • Ensure the safety of vulnerable children and report any concerns regarding their welfare.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development.

  • Participate in training for a Level 3 qualification.
