Senior Practitioner for Child and Family Support

Grade 3: £31,991 - £35,445 FTE per annum (actual £25, £28,356 per annum) *

Part Time: 29.6 hours per week (across 4 days)

We are seeking a Senior Practitioner to lead initiatives aimed at assisting children and families impacted by domestic abuse.

The Integrated Children's Service is committed to delivering comprehensive support to families, and we require a senior practitioner to manage efforts directed at children and young people, with an emphasis on alleviating trauma and restoring relationships affected by domestic abuse.

Your Contribution:

You will facilitate positive transformations for children and young people, helping them navigate the adverse effects of trauma related to domestic abuse, thereby enhancing their daily functioning and future prospects. Additionally, you will empower parents, caregivers, and professionals to better understand the ramifications of domestic abuse on children and the methods to provide effective support.

Key Qualifications (for more details, please refer to the job description and person specification):

Proven experience working directly with children, young people, and families affected by domestic abuse. Understanding and experience in systemic and trauma-informed practices. Leadership and line management experience. Proficient in safeguarding risk assessment and procedures, with the ability to guide a team in these areas.
