IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver first-line customer assistance in response to incidents and service requests, including technical support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Maintain accurate and timely updates on ticket progress within an internal service desk system, ensuring all users receive a high standard of IT support. Address customer interactions through various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and formal ticketing systems. When issues exceed first-line support capabilities, accurately categorize and escalate interactions to the appropriate second-line resolver team, whether internal or external. Utilize your expertise to conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting activities efficiently. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to all client inquiries and escalations, while fostering professional relationships with all business partners and service providers. Demonstrate effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks with minimal support and working independently. Continuously monitor and assess support workload to ensure timely and effective support for applications and hosted environments in line with business priorities. This position requires full-time on-site work with no remote work options. Daily shifts will be 7.5 hours long.

Required Skills:

Previous experience in a service desk environment is preferred. Proficient IT skills, with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications. Strong customer service capabilities, ensuring exceptional service delivery to all users. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Personal accountability for actions and follow-through to completion. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capability to perform under pressure in an operational context. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira Service Desk is advantageous.
