Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our street works team as a Permit Management Specialist. This role will play a critical part in the delivery of our business goals by managing permit applications, monitoring start and closure, and ensuring compliance with NRSWA requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Submit permits to local authorities and manage permit applications
- Monitor start and closure, input amendments, add comments, and respond to challenges
- Work with Local Delivery Partnerships (LDPs) to ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements
- Attend planning meetings and regular meetings with the planning department to discuss challenges and opportunities
- Liaise with Local Authorities and LDPs to ensure smooth permit management
We are looking for a candidate with a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A willingness to undertake further training as required is essential.
