Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at Blakemore Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including conducting regular stocktakes and implementing inventory management systems.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, customer service, and transportation, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams and improving process efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
