Job Title: Chilled Warehouse Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chilled Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Logistics Division in Willenhall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our depot, providing a high-quality service to our customers while working within the constraints of company policy and relevant legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain efficient and effective operations through effective team management and achievement of set KPIs
  • Ensure high standards of customer service throughout all areas of responsibility
  • Control of goods receipt, replenishment, ferrying, customer order processing, and despatch operations
  • Control of stocktaking/checking/maintenance systems and procedures, including results
  • Control of all ancillary operations affecting the quality of service provision
  • Staff recruitment, development, retention, and performance, including the effective supervision of standard hour payment schemes
  • Assisting with the achievement of continuous improvement objectives using available tools and techniques
Requirements:
  • High degree of numeracy and literacy with 5 GCSEs (A-C) / (4-8) - preferable
  • Level 3 health and safety qualification (IOSH) and Level 3 food safety qualification - preferable
  • Warehousing and transport experience preferred
  • Communicates effectively at all levels
  • Ability to provide leadership, direction, and motivation to teams
  • Ability to deal with conflict in an effective and professional manner
