Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to join our team at Teleperformance. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic goal setting of our enterprise network topology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Implement, configure, analyze, and support our internal and external IP transit network, ensuring it is fit for purpose, stable, secure, and positioned for growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of network engineers spread across UK, South Africa, and India, providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management as required.
  • Cybersecurity: Maintain security policies and protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of our company data, assets, and general cyber landscape, working closely with our EMEA Teleperformance security teams and procedures.
  • Network Security: Manage firewalls and other network security devices to prevent unauthorized access to our network, aligning with vendor best practices and associated advisories.
  • Network Maintenance: Maintain corporate network assets, including routers, switches, and WiFi elements, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
  • WAN Optimization: Ensure optimal running of the WAN backbone across all regions within scope, with resilient configuration capable of carrying real-time traffic such as voice, video, and critical applications.
  • Cloud Computing: Participate in the design and operational network management of our EMEA Cloud Compute zones, namely Azure and AWS.
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance, capacity, connectivity, and compliance requirements, identifying and troubleshooting any issues to ensure a robust and efficient network environment.
  • Certifications: Ensure compliance to Cyber Essentials Plus standards, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, and other internal or external certifications requirements in terms of network elements and overall network resource pool.
  • Technology Advancement: Work with our Head of Infrastructure to identify, recommend, and implement new technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our network infrastructure.
  • Security Audits: Assist in conducting internal and external audits, remediating findings where appropriate.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and support the testing of IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure our ability to operate in the event of an outage or other disruption.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure all network-related contracts are fulfilled, and service level agreements are met.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of network architecture, procedures, and protocols to ensure all stakeholders have access to up-to-date information about our network infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Manage network-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years network engineering, delivery, implementation experience.
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience managing a geographically dispersed network team.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced understanding and experience in VPN technologies and network routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • WAN Topologies: Extensive experience of varying WAN topologies such as P2P, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
  • Cloud Computing: Worked with and established on-ramp services to cloud computing nodes such as AWS & AZURE.
  • Network Security: Familiarity with network security protocols and policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and access control.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience in developing networking monitoring solutions using tools such as SolarWinds and other industry leading elements.
  • Cybersecurity: Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS standards and requirements.
  • Leadership: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other members of the IT team.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong and proven leader with interpersonal skills, commercially aware of the importance of cost optimization and efficient vendor management.
