We are seeking a highly skilled Network Management Specialist to join our team at British Telecom. As a key member of our Network Services department, you will play a critical role in establishing a coherent and end-to-end contract lifecycle management function.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and Grow Partnerships: Develop and maintain partnerships with key suppliers, providing clear direction and leadership on cross-platform collaboration opportunities.
  2. Coach and Develop Talent: Coach and manage others to develop capabilities and ensure performance through upskilling, development, and recruitment.
  3. Contribute to Partner Management Strategy: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive partner management strategy that targets all aspects of services provided by partners.
  4. Coordinate Alignment with Group Strategies: Coordinate the alignment of key partners with group partnership strategies, working with critical stakeholders across the unit to achieve objectives.
  5. Analysis and Reporting: Coordinate the analysis of performance data from various sources and create executive-level reports.
  6. Implement and Manage KPIs: Implement and manage KPIs that measure partner performance, ensuring that contracted services are fit-for-purpose and value for money.
  7. Contract Management: Manage ongoing contract management activities throughout the lifecycle, including variations, amendments, and management of contract change notices.
  8. Regular Review Meetings: Participate in regular review meetings with the partners' account team to report and review performance.
Requirements
  1. Managing Risk: Act as a subject matter expert in identifying, assessing, and responding to risks.
  2. Use of Data Analytics: Establish the development and use of data analytics to make decisions.
  3. Measuring Effectiveness: Set up and modify reports and tools to track operational performance.

Experience
  1. Coordinate Stakeholder Relationships: Coordinate internal and external stakeholder relationships and guide decisions based on commercial contact insights.

  3. Commercial Knowledge: Knowledge to interpret commercial constructs and negotiate savings.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to substantiate recommendations and influence decision making.
