Job SummaryAs a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to frail residents, including those residing in care homes. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care that meets the individual needs of our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to frail residents, including those residing in care homes
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Conduct basic clinical observations and delegated tasks under the direction of a registered member of the team
- Implement treatment plans and provide support to patients and their carers
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
- Qualified in NVQ level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Essential skills and competencies to undertake basic clinical observations and delegated tasks
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients and their carers
- Experience of working in healthcare, preferably NHS or related setting
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
- Formal qualification in relevant subject (e.g., Level 3 qualification or relevant in-service training/education)
- English language GCSE or equivalent; Mathematics GCSE or equivalent
- Awareness of current health issues
- Good understanding of the role of Clinical Support Specialist in a clinical setting
- Experience of working in direct patient care
- Experience of working as part of a team
