Job Title: Associate Director, Operations, Rare Disease

The Associate Director, Operations, Rare Disease is a key member of the Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU) leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives to support the growth and success of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the RDBU Leadership team to execute projects that position the business unit for success in a rapidly evolving landscape.
  • Identify stakeholder needs related to key performance indicators, sales data, and field activity data.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations and Strategy (BOS) function to provide data-driven insights to inform and improve decision-making processes.
  • Manage monthly performance reporting processes within RDBU, in collaboration with BOS partners.
  • Lead data working groups within RDBU to ensure reporting and data availability meet the needs of teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders internal and external.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience with a breadth of knowledge in Sales/Marketing and Finance.
  • At least 3 years of Management or Strategy Consulting experience within a Life Sciences or Pharma/Biotech practice.
  • Analytical background with the ability to integrate multiple data sets, analyze large data sources, and create executive summaries.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations supported with data.
  • Successful launch experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
