Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Relations Specialist to join our People Team at QA. As an integral part of our HR function, you will work closely with managers to provide a commercially focused service that drives employee engagement, development, productivity, and retention, while managing employment risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level support and advice to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters.
  • Work with managers to proactively manage employee relations issues effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Identify HR-specific training needs and support the delivery of training programs to enhance manager skills and competencies, contributing to the professional development and engagement of our workforce.
  • Collaborate on People HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Support the Head of HR to manage organizational change and any TUPE activities.
  • Collaborate and engage with management across the business, coaching, influencing, supporting, and challenging, to build exceptional relationships to enable the delivery of KPIs and the business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, while ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships both within and outside of the People division.
  • Emotional resilience, enthusiasm, and confidence with an ardent desire to continue learning.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience of using a variety of HR systems and the usual Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to always deal with sensitive and confidential issues and act with integrity and utmost confidentiality.
  • CIPD level 5, equivalent HR qualification, or experience.
