Employee Relations Specialist

As an Employee Relations Specialist at QA, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our People Team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters, ensuring a commercially focused service that drives employee engagement, development, productivity, and retention, while managing employment risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day high-level support and advice to managers and employees on people matters.
  • Work with managers to proactively manage employee relations issues effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Identify HR-specific training needs and support the delivery of training programs to enhance manager skills and competencies.
  • Collaborate on People HR projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:
  • Experience of delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, while ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships within and outside the People division.
  • Emotional resilience, enthusiasm, and confidence with a desire to continue learning.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience of using a variety of HR systems and the usual Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues and act with integrity and utmost confidentiality.
  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent HR qualification or experience.
