Store Operations Manager

At Clancy, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our stores, including inventory management, stock control, and maintenance of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate records of plant hire and inventory levels
- Take delivery of new stock, checking all delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
- Undertake regular and frequent inspections of stores buildings and external storage compounds
- Maintain a safe and tidy store area in accordance with health & safety practices
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Assist with quarterly and full stock taking activities
- Loading and offloading of vehicles by forklift, once training has been completed
- Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of gas fittings
- Hold a full clean UK driving licence, a forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- Meticulous organisational skills along with being a great communicator and team player
- Comfortable using technology and an appreciation of keeping systems up to date
- Client-focused with a 'get it right first time' attitude
