Job Title: Lead Insurance Operations Specialist - Reinsurance

Location: This position offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional visits to the office as needed.

Work Arrangement: Primarily remote with monthly office visits.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Insurance Operations Specialist to become part of a well-established and thriving Business Services division within a Global Insurance Brokerage that is poised for significant growth.

The Lead Specialist will function as a Senior Operations Technician, focusing on a designated product line and delivering extensive support to the broking team, specifically in the area of Reinsurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily tasks will encompass:

  • Developing and managing client and risk data, handling all aspects of new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and generating necessary documentation. Addressing any issues related to insurance debtors and documenting the outcomes.
  • Participating in system evaluations, providing training, ensuring data accuracy, engaging in project initiatives, and serving as a technical resource for complex billing and related matters. Supporting line managers with end-of-month tasks or administrative duties.

Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable Senior Technician position, preferably with a focus on Reinsurance.
  • A solid understanding of the Lloyd's and London insurance markets is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance market operations and procedures, with the capability to review and verify the work of colleagues.
  • Proficient in IT applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Progress towards obtaining an insurance-related professional qualification is preferred, though not mandatory.
