Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Luton Hoo Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and data.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial reports, including revenue and statistical reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Control and audit revenue generated by hotel operating departments, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel departments to ensure seamless financial operations and effective communication.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Most of all, you will have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
- Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
