Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Connect2Luton. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Finance Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process and reconcile financial transactions in Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage supplier statements, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up with suppliers as needed.
- Reconcile payroll and accounts, ensuring all transactions are up-to-date and accurate.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, document preparation, and report generation.
- Verify supplier payments and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with bookkeeping, including processing invoices and payments.
- Support the Strategic Finance Executive as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Accounts/Finance Assistant experience.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- Negotiation, communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- A good level of education and relevant qualifications.
