Financial Reporting and Analysis Expert

Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Analysis Expert to join our client, a global organisation, on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role with a fixed term contract until February 2025, requiring the candidate to be available immediately to start and commute to Luton 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate timely financial reports and ensure accuracy
  2. Review and analyse P&Ls against budgets, providing insightful variance analysis
  3. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and business partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and controls
  4. Support the UK Finance Manager and prepare tax and statutory packs
  5. Ensure sales invoicing is correct and review and approve supplier invoices
  6. Assist the FP&A team with budgets and quarterly forecasting
Requirements:
  1. Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  2. Proven experience in a fast-paced management accounting environment
  3. High levels of integrity and attention to detail
  4. Effective planning, organisation, and ownership of tasks
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong Excel skills
  6. Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations, working to tight deadlines
