Job Title: Head of Communications and Engagement

Join the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) as a key member of our team, responsible for promoting, engaging, and building advocacy for our major regeneration plans across government, industry, stakeholders, partners, and our local community.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Head of Communications and Engagement to effectively and impactfully promote, engage, and build advocacy for our major regeneration plans. Reporting to the Director of Communications, Engagement, and Strategy, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and management of the wider team to implement OPDC's communications, marketing, external relations, stakeholder, and community engagement, and media management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communications and engagement strategies to promote OPDC's regeneration plans.
  • Manage and lead a team of communications professionals to deliver high-quality communications and engagement outputs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, industry, and community groups.
  • Develop and implement media management strategies to secure positive media coverage for OPDC.
  • Provide strategic communications advice to the Director of Communications, Engagement, and Strategy and other senior leaders.
