About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to join our Installations Team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting our installations team and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the installations team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, flexibility, and integrity in all aspects of your work.
  • Ensure that all direct and indirect workers on site, including third parties employed by Selwood, are aware of and adhere to RAMS and health and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and control the quality of equipment and materials used on site, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Work collaboratively with the Installation Manager to deliver up-to-date information on installation progress and any potential problems or foreseeable issues.
  • Carry out on-site RAMS processes, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating methodology to all site staff and customers.
  • Install pipework and supervise the day-to-day workload of Installation Operatives and sub-contractors on site.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, requiring a good level of fitness to perform daily tasks.
Requirements
  • Aptitude to work on construction sites, with a good understanding of onsite safety.
  • Ability to adapt and meet challenging situations with a positive approach.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including participation in our 'on call' 1 in 3 rota, and occasional work away from home.
  • A current Full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
