At MEGA, we oversee the entire spectrum of event development from inception to execution, enabling us to adapt swiftly in a dynamic market landscape. Our expertise encompasses event ideation and research, branding, marketing, tour coordination, production, logistics, talent acquisition, event oversight, and decor creation.

Our event offerings include: The Rock Orchestra, Festival of The Dead, Silent Discos In Incredible Places, London Film Music Orchestra, among others.

Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned artist or venue programmer to enhance MEGA's promotion and brand management division, overseeing more than 100 events annually. The ideal candidate will manage one of our premier touring brands and ensure the financial success of a globally recognized artist. Candidates should possess extensive experience in live music promotion, international tour routing, negotiating venue agreements, and managing budgets while forecasting financials for events accommodating up to 5,000 attendees. They will serve as the primary liaison with venues from the initial booking to the event's conclusion.

  • Proven track record in promoting large-scale live music events
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in spreadsheets
  • Contract management
  • Insight into event marketing within the live music industry
  • Financial forecasting and budget formulation
  • Profit and loss analysis for events
  • Experience as a promoter representative or show manager
  • Relationship management with artist stakeholders
  • Artist management and development expertise
  • Understanding of live event production
  • Database and schedule management for event details
  • A genuine passion for live music

Relevant Experience:

  • A confident industry expert with a minimum of 10 years in programming, promotion, or management
  • Experience in collating venue availability and planning tour routes
  • Highly organized and self-driven with exceptional attention to detail
  • Diary management proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team
  • Knowledge of event production, touring logistics, and ticketing/box office operations
  • Collaboration with third-party promoters and booking agents

Compensation:

£45,000 with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £60,000.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time, permanent role
  • The position is based in our London office
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 18:00
