Position Overview:
Pertemps TM is currently looking for a dedicated Transport Controller to support our operations on a temporary ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and adjust daily transportation schedules
  • Handle short-term driver absences and reassign tasks accordingly
  • Manage incidents and vehicle breakdowns
  • Serve as the primary contact for drivers
  • Monitor driver performance to identify significant issues
  • Ensure all driver inquiries are addressed and resolved
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary
Essential Skills:
  • Experience in a transport office setting is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of transport regulations is a plus
Position Details:
  • Rotational shifts from Monday to Friday, covering 5:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00
  • Hourly pay rate: £13.44 - £14.28
  • This role is temporary and ongoing
