Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at beBee Professionals in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adherence to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Load and unload goods, handling items with care and attention to detail.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, maintaining a high level of organization and time management.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to regular maintenance schedules.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a strong focus on providing excellent service.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong emphasis on safety and physical well-being.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
