We are seeking an experienced EHCP Coordinator to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the Education Health Care (EHC) assessment process for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for parents/carers and young people wishing to engage in the EHC assessment process.
- Coordinate the EHC assessment process for children and young people, ensuring that parents, children or young persons are included and their views are accurately recorded.
- Work closely with families, schools, and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care, and voluntary sectors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working specifically within a Local Authority SEND service is essential.
- Good knowledge and understanding of parents/children/young people's rights regarding SEN.
