Project Manager – Portsmouth HQ (2-3 days p/w onsite) – up to £42k DOE

A global defence client based in Portsmouth, are looking for a Project Manager to join the team. We are ideally looking for someone with strong Project or Programme Controls experience that is looking for a new challenge working for a supportive end client.

Due to the nature of our clients work, the role will require the successful applicant to be a sole British national and be eligible for security clearance to a minimum SC level.

Key Responsibilities:


•Maintain the project performance measurement baseline and control change


•Producing reports and performing analysis


•Maintain risk registers and performing quantitative risk analysis


•Support the Project with external assessments such as Phase Reviews or Integrated Baseline Reviews


•Work with the Capability team on Continuous Improvement initiatives

Requirements:


•Proven experience as a Project controller or similar


•Good knowledge of ERP systems including SAP


•Risk management & Assessment using tools like Predict, ARM or Primavera Risk Analyser


•APM PMQ qualified and scheduling experience would be highly desirable
