Job Title: Minor Civils Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the delivery of Minor Civils Projects for various sites across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, managing stakeholders, and driving business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Full project management, ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Focus on health, safety, and wellbeing to ensure nobody gets hurt or is made unwell.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective management of stakeholders across the business teams.
  • Financial Management: Financial management of projects to ensure accurate and robust financial forecasting and budgetary allocation.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Analysis and recommendations using information from different sources.
  • Asset Management: Management of projects associated with asset management and investment activities.
  • Benefits Identification: Identification and monitoring of project and change benefits.
  • Resource Planning: Proactive resource planning to meet demands.
  • Task Order Management: Management of the task order programme.
  • Improvement Activities: Development of the improvement activities programme profile.
  • Performance Metrics: Management of performance metrics and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Financial, Risk Management, and Analytical Skills: Strong financial, risk management, and analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office Applications: Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
  • Project Management and Process Improvements: Experience of project management and process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Presentation Skills: Stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
  • Business Case Development: Developing robust business cases with a clear understanding of whole life costs.
