Job Description:
We are working with a market-leading Civil Engineering company to find a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on multiple and varied projects, utilizing your technical expertise and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractor relationships and client engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
- Read, interpret, and communicate construction drawings to site teams, ensuring accurate layouts and material measurements.
- Ensure setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
- Liaise with clients' site teams to communicate project requirements and ensure effective project management.
- Take technical responsibility for projects on site, including reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Influence project progress and ensure programme deadlines are met.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
- Work closely with team members to ensure Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety aspects are adhered to during project phases.
Requirements:
- Sound client liaison experience and commercial awareness.
- Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104.
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Hands-on approach with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management, and delivery.
- Good organization, communication, and presentation skills.
- 3+ years' experience in the industry, with a desire to start a new and exciting chapter in your career.
