About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 ICU Nurse to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a clinical and non-clinical leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of dedicated nurses in the Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and lead by example in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of care
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and staff development
Requirements
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Post-basic qualification in Critical Care
  • Evidence of mentorship and teaching qualifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and adapt to changing demands
