Position: HVAC Supervisor

Company: Project Start Recruitment Solutions

Location: Midlands and surrounding areas.

Salary: £53,131.00 per annum

Our client, a prominent player in facilities management and building services, has a well-established electrical division that has been thriving since its inception in 1985. With a commitment to excellence, the company continues to expand its operations globally.

In light of ongoing success with a significant blue-chip contract, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor to oversee multiple sites across the Midlands and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise HVAC Technicians and Engineers across over 100 locations within the Midlands.
  • Ensure the successful execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and testing workstreams while providing technical support to maintenance teams.
  • Lead and manage HVAC teams to guarantee that all services meet the required standards and adhere to regulatory and company policies.
  • Oversee technical standards within operations, acting as the technical authority and primary contact for F-Gas compliance.
  • Facilitate training and development for engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and regional HVAC technicians.
  • Manage budgets and service delivery efficiently while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within a similar environment.
  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
  • ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A) as a minimum.
  • ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications (CCN, CENWAT, CPA) as a minimum.
  • City and Guilds 17th Edition certification.
  • Proficient in major manufacturers' systems and equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
