My client is a full turnkey solutions business based in the West Midlands, specializing in delivering comprehensive air handling and HVAC solutions to a diverse range of clients. They are seeking a driven HVAC Technical Manager to join a dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of HVAC projects from conception to completion.


This includes managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.


This is suitable for a Technical Manager, Product Manager, Design Manager, Engineering Manager or Senior Supervisor who has high-level HVAC knowledge and is looking to join a market-leader



Package:

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Engineering qualifications in a HVAC or building services related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the HVAC industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of air handling units (AHUs), ventilation systems, and related equipment
  • Proven experience in managing projects and teams in a technical capacity
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and health & safety requirements
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the technical team in the design, development, and installation of HVAC systems
  • Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and specification to installation and commissioning
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and health & safety guidelines
  • Conduct technical assessments and site surveys to determine the best solutions for client needs
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team, including training and development of junior engineers
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Continuously seek to improve processes and drive innovation within the team
