Behaviour Mentor Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a SEN School in Edgware. This is a long-term, full-time role, paying between £80.00 and £100.00 per day on PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in all lessons with the educational and social needs of pupils.
  • Assist in the organisation of class activities and help manage class or individual behaviour.
  • Perform 1:1 and group work with students to keep them engaged and making progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour and SEMH difficulties.
  • Previous TA, LSA or support work within a school, PRU, Alternative Provision or other child-related experience.
  • Open-minded, positive, and friendly approach.
  • A caring and professional manner.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
