Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Wise May Ltd. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Insurance company based in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prioritize all incoming correspondence, checking for new incidents and ensuring timely responses.
  • Verify insurance entries in databases and collaborate with other departments to resolve queries.
  • Scan and reference correspondence onto our system, updating parties accordingly.
  • Monitor emails and other inboxes, distributing and acting on messages efficiently.
  • Set up new claims and process fee payments in a timely manner.
  • Establish new payee bank details and facilitate efficient communication with internal and external parties.
  • Update and maintain various databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage records of archival storage, retrieval, and collection of boxes.

Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent team-working skills and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in IT and experience with Outlook.
  • Previous office experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
