Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Deputy Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical, managerial, and educational leadership to a team of registered and unregistered nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support the development of ward initiatives to improve the provision of care.
  • Take an active lead in the management of the ward, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the ward and maintaining standards.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to ensure colleagues and service users are represented throughout changes to mental health services.
  • Support and input into service redesign and contribute to the development of a recovery-orientated approach.
