Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team in the Acute Adult Inpatients ward within the Directorate of Mental Health at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to provide clinical, managerial, and educational leadership to a team of registered and unregistered nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to trust policies and procedures.
- Take an active lead in the development of ward initiatives to improve the provision of care, working closely with the ward sister/charge nurse and other stakeholders.
- Support the coordination of the unit in the absence of a clinical duty manager, covering 24-hour rotations and dealing with emergencies, staffing issues, and bed management.
- Take responsibility for the management of the ward, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running and maintaining ward systems and standards.
