Location: Harpenden, AL5

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road team. This position involves 20 hours of work per week, typically from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 2pm.

Our nursery is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is conveniently located near the town center, with onsite parking available for staff.

The facility is housed in a beautifully converted Victorian property featuring seven spacious rooms across three levels, including a unique log cabin nursery room. Additionally, the nursery boasts a large outdoor play area that is regularly enjoyed by the children.

Qualifications:

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Prior experience working with children, ideally in roles such as Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator
  • A genuine passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child
  • Strong ability to build trust and effective working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Proficient in utilizing various communication techniques with both children and adults
  • In-depth knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and relevant legislative requirements for working with children
