We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant at Harpenden Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Childcare and Education: Supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Activity Planning: Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of level 3 qualified practitioners, promoting learning and development.
  • Environment Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff.
  • Policy Implementation: Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with children, parents, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Professional Development: Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required to enhance your skills and knowledge.
