Theatre Practitioner - Postoperative Care

Postoperative | Theatre | Band 5/6 equivalent | Fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities

The Postoperative Practitioner will evaluate patients' health and well-being across a varied and dynamic caseload, contributing to the delivery of care tailored to individual patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Preparing recovery areas and ensuring optimal care for patients following surgical procedures. Communicating complex, sensitive, or critical information effectively. Advocating for best practices in health, safety, and security protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You will be a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with prior experience in postoperative care. A proactive and committed team player, comfortable working independently. Certifications in Advanced Life Support and Airway Management are advantageous, though training opportunities are available.
