Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our experienced team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the smooth running of our practice.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of practice duties, including face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and home/care home visiting (rare)
- Action bloods, tasks, check and sign EPS repeat prescriptions and PA scripts, and deal with queries
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Develop care plans for patients with long-term conditions
- Provide counselling and health education
- Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary and working to ICB guidelines
- Support and supervise Physician Associates and GP Registrars when required to ensure the smooth running of the practice
- Manage and support ongoing palliative care and elderly care case loads
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will have previous experience working as a GP, and you will be able to work autonomously, making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems.
