About the Role
Davenport House Surgery is seeking a skilled Salaried General Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth running of our surgery.
Key Responsibilities
Providing face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and home/care home visiting (rare) as agreed in practice rotas
Actioning bloods, tasks, checking and signing EPS repeat prescriptions and PA scripts, and dealing with queries
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation
Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Developing care plans for patients with long-term conditions
Providing counselling and health education
Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary and working to ICB guidelines
Supporting/supervising Physician Associates and GP Registrars when required to ensure the smooth running of the practice
