About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Therapeutic Apheresis Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing apheresis procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and deliver apheresis procedures for emergency and elective patients and donors
  • Provide safe and compassionate care within a total quality system, upholding clinical standards and best practice
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communication with key stakeholders
  • Provide clinical support and supervision to less experienced staff and student nurses
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RN1 or RNA)
  • Post-registration experience and a degree in a clinical area
  • Experience of clinical management and decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
